Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) and its project team has been proactively implemented the work arrangements for land clearance of Cha Kwo Ling Village (CKLV) Phase 1. Our team have regularly visited residents to understand and address their relocation circumstances, in order to provide appropriate support accordingly. In addition, our team maintained close collaboration with the Lands Department and other relevant departments in following up on the compensation and rehousing arrangement for those affected households, striving to ensure smooth relocation for the residents of CKLV Phase 1. Thanks to the collective efforts and cooperation of the residents, all households of CKLV Phase 1 has successfully relocated in early October 2024. The contractor of CEDD will promptly commence site formation and infrastructure works for CKLV Phase 1.
